Marco holds an MBA from INSEAD and a MSc in Industrial Engineering, obtained at the Politecnico di Milano. Prior to joining SparkOptimus, Marco worked at The Boston Consulting Group, working across functions and industries, but ultimately focusing on supply chain optimization and large digital transformation projects. After that, he completely changed course and became co-founder of VINHOOD, a software service that functions as a recommendation engine to help wine- and coffee specialists and grocery retailers understanding their customers’ taste and needs. Marco is therefore a great wine lover and an amazing cook – or at least he tries to be one… His other passions are off-piste skiing, scuba diving, sailing, backpacking, Sci-Fi movies and books.
To succeed in this fast changing environment, companies must learn to optimize and transform with an entrepreneurial mindset or else they will be put out of business by agile disruptors.
