Last month, three SparkOptimus employees have visited the Amsterdam Health & Technology Institute. Just like the visit at LoopedGoods, this visit was part of our recently introduced pro-bono initiative: SparkOptimus SOcial.
The Amsterdam Health & Technology Institute (AHTI) is focused on improving urban health and healthcare in the world by connecting people, technology, and medical knowledge through innovation and entrepreneurship. Their vision is that technology can solve significant health challenges and positively impact the health and well-being of people around the world. In just a few years, AHTI has been involved in 80 projects to improve health at lower costs. Examples are an educational program for children on health and entrepreneurship and a project to stimulate living healthier.
Youth4Health, an educational program for children on health and entrepreneurship, is one of the many projects that AHTI is involved in
In order to help AHTI, SparkOptimus organized a Customer Journey workshop at their startup incubator: HealthInc. In this workshop, participating startups mapped their customer journey from a consumer perspective, together with SparkOptimus consultants. The gathered insights were translated to concrete (and unmet) customer needs and barriers, which the startups will use to further improve their proposition. During the workshop, multiple challenges for health/tech startups were discussed, leading to a very insightful and fun day for all participants.
As SparkOptimus, we are very excited to be working with these interesting and innovative organizations that are making an important contribution to our society.
