Review of ANWB Media strategy and status
WTS Energy is the leading consultant/manpower supply company to the international oil, gas and energy industry. The Sniffers is an independent service provider within the oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical industries and is owned by WTS Energy. To fulfil rising customer and consultants’ needs from digital and to realize growth aspirations, both companies seek a way to surface and agree on growth options.
Through a one-day workshop SparkOptimus helped WTS Energy & The Sniffers to co-develop a mission and strategy with full buy-in. We first clarified the company’s purpose, tapping into the unconscious through story-telling. We then developed the strategy ‘future back’, identifying future growth opportunities from better fulfilling (future) customer needs. Finally we agreed on a BHAG ambition, and working back from there, the 3-horizon strategy, followed by execution roadmap and enablers on day 2.
The interactive Strategy Workshop enabled the formulation of tangible strategic growth opportunities for both WTS Energy & The Sniffers and clear strategies to deliver on an inspiring and guiding mission and BHAG. Throughout the workshop, both divisions’ management teams formulated concrete strategies to be able to optimize, transform and disrupt their businesses in the short- and long-term, with full buy-in to start executing.
