SparkOptimus assessed whether the potential acquisition could fulfill the digital ambitions as set out in our client’s strategic plans. This included an assessment of the target’s own strategic plans and market position, its organization and management, and its technology platform, but also a review of the cultural fit and financial health. We then drafted a post-acquisition plan and value creation story, based on an assessment of the likely performance of the target as part of the client’s organization. In addition, an investor story and communication plan for the market were drafted.
SparkOptimus created a comprehensive overview in which it provided a critical assessment of the investment opportunity at hand. This assessment allowed our client to make a decision on the opportunity in light of their strategy, and provided support in the negotiation process that followed.
