eBay Classifieds Group (eCG) is a world leader in classifieds. They provide platforms that “help people find whatever they’re looking for in their local communities”, operating under ten brands that span the globe. Recognizing the potential for impact and opportunities from the continuously changing digital landscape, eBay Classifieds Group asked SparkOptimus to create quarterly reports on the latest trends in the digital world.
SparkOptimus assessed eBay Classified Group’s customer journeys and developed a set of customized quarterly reports, profiling developments related to each phase of the customer journey. The reports feature analysis of various trends from established classifieds companies, new & innovative players, and broader ecommerce and technology players launching features and services that could have implications for eBay Classifieds Group. By using various approaches to source/map inspiring trends and doing in-depth research on topics considered relevant to eCG in the digital environment, SparkOptimus was able to assess several cross-cutting topics, as well as to deep dive on specific features, in an easy-to-read digital format.
The quarterly reports that SparkOptimus has developed for eBay Classifieds Group are designed to generate new insights to inspire eCG leadership and to support the identification of new or expanded strategic initiatives across the business. These reports are shared globally with the senior leadership of the ten brands operating under eCG.
