This Friday, SparkOptimus opened four new rooms in its office space at Jacob-Obrechtplein. All rooms are designed and decorated by Sparkies and have a special topic. Read below to find out why our office has become even more exciting!
The Game Room is probably (most certainly) and by far the most comfortable, loved, and fun room in our entire office. Gracefully situated in one of the edgy corners of the 2nd floor, this old machine room has been turned into a serene place of fun, laughter, and excitement.
With a cozy couch, a huge TV, and obviously several game consoles (PS4, Wii, N64), itâs the ultimate place for Sparkies to play a game of FIFA, GTA or Mario Kart together, while taking a break from work. Additionally, if youâre not that into digital, you can always enjoy an ice cold beer and play some darts.
The Souqterrain is the perfect Sparkie hideaway, hidden in plain sight in the front of our beloved transformer building. The idea of the room is to provide an oasis of coziness, warmth and quality tea in our world of disruption, problem solves & steercoâs.
The room has a Middle Eastern-inspired interior, aiming to look like a combination of a contemporary living room and an Arabic Souq. Its exact purpose is yet to be filled in by Sparkies when the room opens, but itâs expected to be used for more informal gatherings or meetings like feedback sessions or team check-outs. So when you come to visit our office⊠see you there!
The Little Birds Room – De Vogeltjeskamer Sometimes even the most dedicated, hard-working Sparkie needs a break. Situated just below the roof â on the recently opened third floor â is âThe Little Birds Roomâ. Based on principles established in Alpine âKurortenâ (or Alpine Spas), the room provides a tranquil oasis to regain oneâs sanity after the daily pressures of life as a strategy consultant.
A place where all senses are gently stimulated to ease and focus the mind and reduce stress. Whether it is just a short moment of relaxation or a secluded place for some much needed concentration, âThe Little Birds Roomâ will provide Sparkies with the headspace to be even better at their work!
The technology room Today, we have launched the SparkOptiLab. This inspirational technology room gives you a hands-on experience of the latest technology, to make sure weâre always one step ahead of the competition.
We provide an introduction into virtual reality, customer recognition with beacons, and a programming robotics 101 course with LEGO. Using the 3 available Raspberry Piâs and over 40 sensors (including light, temperature and pressure), you can simply program your own automated processes. Welcome to the future, welcome to the SparkOptiLab.
