Following Alexandra Jankovich’s participation in a panel discussion on how technological disruption can aid asylum seekers, SparkOptimus and VPRO Tegenlicht joined forces in a brainstorm about technological solutions for the refugee problem. They were joined by Reinout de Kraker, the founder of TakeCareBnB, which is a platform that has the goal to facilitate integration between refugees and Dutch citizens. More practically, SparkOptimus employees thought about the steps that would take an initiative like TakeCareBnB from a one-man initiative aimed a handful of refugees, to a stable platform that can accommodate many more.
