On Tuesday September 13th another working session of the Shopping Tomorrow ‘Direct Brands’ expert panel took place at our office in Amsterdam. During this session marketing and sales executives of Brabantia, Dyson, FrieslandCampina, JDE, and SONOS shared their learnings on a range of challenges that producers face when selling directly to consumers.
Topics that were discussed include the composition and size of an e-commerce team, a minimum viable IT landscape, and a scalable logistics setup. The session was finished with informal drinks. The session was hosted and presented by Jur Gaarlandt and Maurice van Heijningen of SparkOptimus.
