Finally, we can now share with you the outcome of a special project we have been working on for quite some time. We are delighted to announce that our book ‘Make Disruption Work – a CEO handbook for digital transformation’ was launched on April 10th.
Digital disruption offers a daunting range of possibilities for companies, and the pace of changes is accelerating across industries. While we at SparkOptimus are always excited to share our experience at events such as the recent one at IMD business school in Lausanne, we recognized a need to make our insights even more widely accessible. For this reason, we decided it was a good idea to compress our knowledge into an insightful CEO handbook.
Several weeks ago, our managing partners Tom Voskes and Alexandra Jankovich proudly presented the first draft of the book to the office. In their usual collaborative, hands-on style, it wasn’t long before the Sparkies were fully engaged in reviewing their very own proof copies. The enthusiasts among us had their feedback ready within the hour! After all, like everything we do, the outcome improves when we do it together.
The book is written as a down-to-earth and extremely practical guide on how to reap the benefits of digital disruption. It explains our approach of the 5 D’s: Discover, Define, Determine, Drive, and Delight, while showing its practical application with real-world examples, based on our experience gained during hundreds of projects.
In the lead-up to the upcoming publication, the book was read by heavyweights from the business world, who are unanimously enthusiastic:
“With outstanding simplicity and deep insights, this book reveals the “how to” of digital disruption”
– Paul Polman, CEO Unilever
“This book is easy to read, and the examples really make the ideas come to life”
