Rogier holds a Msc. in Industrial Engineering and Management with a focus on biotechnology from the University of Groningen. He first got to know consultancy during his studies, where he was co-responsible for the acquisition of 10 consulting projects at a variety of companies for 20 participating students. Driven by his consulting ambitions, he subsequently did market research for Teijin Aramid. An internship at AkzoNobel in Singapore for six months followed, working on factory automation, data analysis and dashboard creation. At SparkOptimus he found the place to combine consultancy work with his new-found drive to optimize and innovate through digitalization. Rogier is always up for a game of football, hockey or tennis. When not running around the field or court, you can find him cooking, playing chess, tour skiing or travelling.
