Julian holds a PhD in quantum computing – focusing on the experimental realization of a quantum computer in the field of cold atom physics – from the University of Amsterdam, for which he was awarded the Marie Curie Scholarship for young researchers. He also holds an MSc in Physics from the University of Mainz, and has studied at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Next to his academic career, Julian has gained insights into the IT and automotive industry through various internships during his studies. Julian joined SparkOptimus to combine his affinity for IT solutions with digital innovations and strategy consulting. In his free time he likes to improve his powerlifting PR or to sail at the Markermeer.
