What they wanted is an online retailer of home & garden products. Its label is the largest online retailer for bathroom furniture and fixtures in the Netherlands and has recently made the move to omnichannel by opening its first showroom. As online DIY competition is increasing and has the ambition to continue to grow over the coming years, it asked SparkOptimus to support with implementing next-level digital operational excellence.

What we did

After a strategic and operational quick scan to develop an holistic view on, we identified and prioritized both growth levers and operational improvement opportunities. We jointly kick started several of them and built digital capabilities across the organization to ensure was able to continuously improve after we left.

What we achieved restructured its organization around the key digital capabilities and processes required to facilitate its ambition. The hands-on support led to a substantial performance improvement in a very short time frame.
