Gamma Belgium is one of top 3 players in DIY in Belgium. Every week 160,000 customers shop at one of 82 stores in Flanders or Wallonia. As part of the Intergamma cross channel strategy, Gamma Belgium launched their webshop early 2014, and asked SparkOptimus to help build an adaptive and self-learning e-commerce organization which aims for growth and profit maximization.

What we did
SparkOptimus supported Gamma Belgium in creating a commercially and financially sound online assortment selection and optimization process, setting up and managing online marketing campaigns, hiring additions to the e-commerce team, and creating dashboards to steer accurately. All departments were taken through a step-by-step process to acquire and eventually, perform new data, marketing or online category management skills independently.

We created an organizational e-commerce foundation, providing Gamma Belgium with the know-how and tailor-made tools to kick-start its presence in the online Belgian DIY market and start achieving its growth objectives.
